When you relax deeply, your nervous system gets calmer and your body moves towards the direction of optimal functioning. You stop using your precious energy to hold on to stress, which then makes that energy available for healing. The more healing and energy you cultivate, the more you have available when stressful situations happen - and the less you’re thrown off balance.

The act of carving out time to care for yourself is like having a date night with your partner. Sure, you see them all the time but when you take time to intentionally be present with them in a special setting, it’s a more deeply nourishing and relationship building experience. It can even invite in magic.
The ritual of retreats, as well as full moon practices, are a way to build rhythms into your life that help you connect with yourself and who you really are. The more connected you are to your true self, the better your life will reflect your true self.
Let go of the past and step into your potential
Retreats often provide time for reflection where you can see your life from a distance and notice what no longer serves you. Full moon energy also helps to shine light on your thoughts and feelings, and supports you to let go of those that you no longer want to carry with you. You can then intentionally decide what to leave and what to take with you as you return to your life.
