Inky Rocks the House, Tapas Club, 14/sept

After months of listening to Inky’s first cd, I finally got to see them play in person this past Tuesday at Tapas Club, here in São Paulo. And it wasn’t just my virgin eyes watching, a whole crowd of adoring fans came out to watch the band’s official first show. Described as “Brazilian New Wave” by Paulistano music critic, Lúcio Ribeiro,, Inky promotes themselves as having a dancey blend of electronica, rock and jazz, something akin to LCD Sound System and Hot Chip.

I loved the show. The music was great, the vibe was awesome. Below are a few choice videos taken using my shitey Canon PowerShot. Enjoy!
