Painting in Progress: Chega! (Enough!)
One of my current paintings on the easel. Studying portraiture and expression using a mix of traditional acrylic and grafitti markers.
It’s a challenge to paint someone I know and love, and to render the facial expression so that it communicates what I intend. The colors are mostly warm browns, terra cotta, ocre, naples yellow, with some ultramarine blue thrown in there for contrast. The combinations are the result of pure intuition, as the painting progresses, I add color where it “feels right”. Definitely a “process of discovery”…
Ficou muito louco esse quadro!! Voce pinta muito muito bem! Parabéns!
Thank you! I love getting comments! 😉
