Gentle and expansive, strong and profound, yoga has the potential to transform our experience of life. Yoga has weaved itself in and out of my life in many shapes and intensities. As a child I would thumb through my father’s weird books of nearly naked Indian men and giggle at the photos of them sticking their tongues out. Little did I know that I would eventually grow into a woman who also thinks its a good idea to stick out your tongue and roll your eyes around, getting into those precious, forgotten muscles of the face that we otherwise ignore completely.

I like to explore those parts of us that we tend to ignore completely, both as individuals and as a society. There is so much amazing knowledge contained in the ancient wisdom of yoga that can help us manage the trials and tribulations of life and bring us closer to peace and happiness. My goal is to support my students wherever they are at on their own journey.

I have been practicing yoga since 1999 and completed Insight Teacher Training in 2016 with Margo Sorum and Margi Clifford at Spirit Path in Anchorage.
